There are actually two great links up for grabs when you make your profile. The first one is Google lets you list your homepage with any anchor text you want. How handy is that?
The second area to get some Google link juice is in the about me area. Right now Google is letting you write a short BIO about yourself and it allows for some HTML. Now I wouldn’t go and spam in there but a nice keyword rich text link is fine, something like I did in my profile.
As you can see the path of the profiles is http://www.google.com/profiles/username which means that you are getting the full weight of the Google PR rank behind it. I am sure that Google will also re-crawl itself all the time so your link will get noticed and indexed right away.
